Digital technologies have a significant effect on remembering, researching and teaching about the Holocaust. The online discussion on Digital Holocaust Memory hosts a group of international and interdisciplinary experts working with and researching digital media and memory in various fields, among them forensic, archeology, archives, social media and virtual reality applications. Tobias Ebbrecht-Hartmann introduces the project “Visual History of the Holocaust – Rethinking Curation in the Digital Age” and mainly focuses on new ways of establishing relations through advanced search infrastructures and digital curation.
