Ralf Lechner, born 1970 in Linz, is Head of Collections at the Mauthausen Memorial. He was curator of the permanent exhibitions “The Mauthausen Concentration Camp 1938–1945” and “The Crime Scenes of Mauthausen – Searching for Traces” at Mauthausen Memorial site (both 2013) and of the permanent exhibition “Concentration Camp Gusen 1939–1945. Traces – Fragments – Reconstructions” at Gusen Memorial site (2005). He is co-editor of the Memorial’s series “Mauthausen Studien” and “Mauthausen Erinnerungen”.
