Andreas Pesenhofer is co-founder, solutions engineer, product owner and project manager at max.recall information systems GmbH. He received his M.Sc. in Business Informatics from TU Wien in 2004. From 2004 to 2007, he was a researcher at an Austrian center for applied research in the area of e-Commerce. In 2008, he was hired as a senior technologist at the Information Systems & Information Retrieval department of an Austrian service provider for solutions in the patent and intellectual property domain. There, he acquired comprehensive knowledge of the requirements and needs in the patent domain and focused on the areas of text clustering and classification as well as text analytics with open-source technologies. At max.recall, he has been involved in different internal and customer projects, including the design and realization of the annotation module for discovering physical measurements in unstructured text. He has worked as software architect and later as product owner for a series of projects for the Autrian Federal Computing Center in the previous years. In addition to his work experience, Andreas Pesenhofer is the author of over 20 scientific publications in the areas of information retrieval, data mining and machine learning.
